Hubballi AAP Workers Vow to Unmask Corruption in Smart City Works
Hubballi, By Hubli Express News: On the occasion of Constitution Day and the 11th anniversary of the Aam Aadmi Party’s founding, AAP workers in Hubballi are making a bold pledge. Standing in front of the Dr. BR Ambedkar statue near the Railway Station, party members gathered to recite the preamble of the constitution and declare their commitment to unveiling corruption within the smart city projects undertaken by Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City Limited (HDSCL).
Eleven years ago, the Aam Aadmi Party emerged with a mission to combat corruption in the nation. Today, these workers assert that various instances of corruption have marred the execution of smart city initiatives. In a budget of Rs 1,000 crore, a staggering Rs 612 crore has reportedly been spent on executing 57 projects. The remaining five projects are slated to be completed at the remaining cost. However, concerns about the quality of completed projects have raised our suspicions of widespread corruption and it is our duty to expose this before the public, the workers said.
The party workers, including AAP’s district president Praveen Kumar Nadakattin, Revansiddappa, Sham Nargund, Pratibha Diwakar, MB Hiremath, Eijaz Ahmed, Husensab Talewad, Avinash Sadanand, Farooq Shaik, Tasmin Talewad, Padma Hublikar, and others, solemnly pledge to expose all documents related to corruption soon. This marks another chapter in AAP’s ongoing battle against corruption, a cause they championed since their inception.
